ABOUT
This dramatic view over Byron Bay was loosely painted with confident experienced strokes of paint. There is a heat mist over near Mount Wollumbin which makes it appear like it’s floating. The beach is calling you to stroll on its sand. Above is a massive bank of cloud which is similar to the intense summer storms I have seen many times over the bay. These banks of cloud are deep blue and filled with the coming rain. This one seems to hang like a bird descending on the bay.
This artwork draws you in to imagine you are in this dramatic scene.
FRAMING
Sold unframed.
As this is a watercolour on paper it will need framing behind glass to protect from moisture and marks. I would also recommend hanging away from direct sunlight to protect from fading. The attached image shows this work framed with a white cardboard surround and thin frame. This work could also be accentuated by a simple pale wooden frame.
POSTAGE
- Free worldwide postage throughout my website. All works sent tracked, priority post using Australia Post. This work is on paper and will be loosely rolled in a solid cardboard tube for best protection in transit. When the work arrives I would recommend flattening the paper. Place the work under a stack of books with the protection papers over to keep clean.
