About
Featuring the Australian Native White Flannel Flower Floating over Byron Bay. The beach is glowing when the sun is bright before the storm front comes in. These tropical type storms are dramatic in the summers of the Northern Rivers of New South Wales, Australia.
This painting was inspired by Salvador Dali painting Meditative Rose.
The giant flower is surreal and majestic. It’s how you feel when you come across a flannel flower in the wild.
A child plays in the sand with the backdrop of deep blue storm clouds and the lit up lighthouse and headland. The drama and grandeur of this scene is sure to enliven your room.

Sold unframed. This is a watercolour on paper it will need framing behind glass to protect from moisture and marks. I would also recommend hanging away from direct sunlight to protect from fading. The attached image shows this work framed with a white card surround and gold frame.

Free worldwide postage throughout my website. This work is on paper and will be loosely rolled in a solid cardboard tube for best protection in transit. When the work arrives I would recommend flattening the paper. Place the work under a stack of books with the protection papers over to keep clean.
